The Kobberbassen fly

The Kobberbassen fly imitates a gammarus that lives in the vegetation close to the shore. Some fishermen are even of the opinion that this is the only fly you need.

This fly is fished with both short- and longer distinct retreives and I use this fly alone if it is calm weather and little wind. This is also one of my favorites as a dropper fly when fishing with two flies. This fly can also be tied with a little more dubbing which you can see in the picture below.

  1. Thank you for another informative blog. Where else could I get that kind of info written in such an ideal way? I have a project that I am just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such info.
