The Klympen fly

Klympen is a simple and efficient fly for sea trout. It was invented on the Danish island Bornholm and called Klympen by Henning Eskol.

He tended to smash his flies into the rocks with his low backcasts, and because of this he wanted a pattern that could be tied in a short time. The fly is very durable and simple but it is a sea trout magnet. The original Klympen fly has a tail of teal and copper on the body. The fly is finished with a hackle in the front.
